Five Pears Design

Get to know Janet from Five Pears Design and what inspired her to start her own business

Janet is the owner and maker behind Five Pears Design, and started her little business a couple of years ago. She creates a number of lovely items from bibs and burp cloths to wet bags and even reusable makeup removal pads.

Janet’s inspiration to start Five Pears Design came from a love of fabric and making, and gave her, in her words, something to do with all the fabric she loves to purchase! The wet bags and bibs that Janet creates are two of her bestsellers, however, everything she creates is made with so much love you just can’t go past it!

The inspiration behind the name of the small business Janet has created comes from her love of pears and the meaning of five in the bible; grace. Surprisingly, Janet has found herself in two armed holdups! But you will have to ask her more about that if you see her!
